Purified from sins.
2 Peter 1:9
Takes away sin.
Hebrews 9:26-28
Blot out, clear away sin. Psalm 103:12 Isaiah 43:25
Future justification.
Romans 3:20
Justifications of Abraham.
Romans 4:2-3
James 2:21-23
Become partakers of the divine nature.
1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship
one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from
all sin.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar
off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
John 1:29
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith,
"Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the
world."
For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of
the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he
appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this
the judgment:
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto
them that look for him shall he appear the second time without
sin unto salvation.
Psalm 51:2
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my
sin.
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed
our transgressions from us.
I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine
own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
Romans 2:13
For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the
doers of the law shall be justified.
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be
justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of
sin.
Hebrews 11:8
By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place
which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and
he went out, not knowing whither he went.
Genesis 12:1-4
Now the LORD had said unto Abram, "Get thee out of thy country,
and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land
that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee,
and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that
curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be
blessed." So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot
went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when
he departed out of Haran.
For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to
glory; but not before God.
For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was
counted unto him for righteousness.
Genesis 15:6
And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for
righteousness.
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had
offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was
faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed
God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was
called the Friend of God.
Genesis 22:1-18
And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt
Abraham, and said unto him, "Abraham," and he said, "Behold, here
I am." And he said, "Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou
lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him
there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I
will tell thee of." And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass,
and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and
clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went
unto the place of which God had told him. Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the
place afar off. And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the
ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come
again to you. And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it
upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a
knife; and they went both of them together. And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father:
and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire
and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for
a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. And they came to the place which God had told him of; and
Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and
bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to
slay his son. And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and
said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou
any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God,
seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind
him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went
and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in
the stead of his son. And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it
is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be
seen. And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven
the second time, And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because
thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son,
thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will
multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand
which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the
gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
because thou hast obeyed my voice.
2 Peter 1:4
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious
promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine
nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world
through lust.
