The vine and its branches.
John 15:1-8
I am the true vine, and
my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh
away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring
forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto
you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself,
except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the
vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same
bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not
in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and
cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words
abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein
is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

1 Cor 12:25-27
That there should be no schism in the body; but that
the members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member
suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the
members rejoice with it. Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in
particular.
Romans 12:4-5
For as we have many members in one body, and all members
have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every
one members one of another.

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with
thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of
utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
2 Corinthians 1:11
Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the
gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many
on our behalf.
2 Thessalonians 1:11
Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God
would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his
goodness, and the work of faith with power:
Acts 12:5
Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without
ceasing of the church unto God for him.
1 Timothy 2:1-3
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications,
prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings,
and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life
in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of
God our Saviour;
James 5:16

Biblical prayers to angels
Psalm 103:20-21

his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto
the voice of his word. Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his,
that do his pleasure.
Psalm 148:1-2
Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens:
praise him in the heights. Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his
hosts.
Veneration of angels united with God (Mt 18:10).
Matthew
18:10

you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is
in heaven.
Joshua 5:13-14
And it came to pass when Joshua was by Jericho, that he
lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him
with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him,
"Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?" And he said, "Nay; but as captain of
the host of the Lord am I now come." And Joshua fell on his face to the earth,
and did worship....
Daniel 8:16-17
And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which
called, and said, "Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision." So he came

through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then
shall I know even as also I am known.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear
what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him;

Hebrews 12:22-24
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the
living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To
the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven,
and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to
Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that
speaketh better things that that of Abel.
Those who died are like angels.
Luke 20:34-38
And Jesus
answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in
marriage: But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the
resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: Neither
can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children
of God, being the children of the resurrection. Now that the dead are raised,
even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and
the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. For he is not a God of the dead, but of
the living: for all live unto him.

ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

Numbers 14:13-20
And Moses said unto the Lord, "Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;) And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that thou Lord art among this people, that thou Lord art seen face to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou goest before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night. Now if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying, 'Because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.' And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying, 'The Lord is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.' Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now." And the Lord said, "I have pardoned according to thy word."
